THE RULES:

(2) Then pick one of your favorite quotes from each movie.
(3) Post the quotes in your journal.
(4) Have those on your friends list guess what the movie is.
(5) Either strike out the quote once it has been correctly identified or place the guesser's user name directly after the quote.
(6) Extra points for knowing the actor or character's name.

1. "I'm calling the organization of the United Brotherhood of It's None of Your Damn Business, Lewis. I'll be with you in a second." - rickvs casts his vote.

2. "Hello, my name is Philo and welcome to Secrets of the Universe. Today we are going to learn how to make plutonium from common household items." - thebitterguy knows his cult films.

3. "Hancock. I've got lunatics laughing at me from the woods. My original plan has been scuppered now that the jeeps haven't arrived. My communications are completely broken down. Do you really believe any of that can be helped by a cup of tea?" - jovianconsensus knows his war movies!

4. "This is definitely Lower Wacker Drive! If my estimations are correct, we should be very close to the Honorable Richard J. Daley Plaza!" - jovianconsensus gets two by using unecessary violence.

5. "There isn't a government on this planet that wouldn't kill us all for that thing." - thebitterguy gets another one!

6. "What the hell do you mean "cowardly blacks?" They died on your side, didn't they? And who the hell do you think is coming to wipe out your little command? The Grenadier Guards?" - valkyrwench is clearing the board!

7. "Yes, sir, we were, but this is genuine coin of the realm. With a dollar of this, you can buy ten dollars of talk." - valkyrwench again. I swear, I watch that movie just to hear Sydney Greenstreet talk.

8. "In case you haven't noticed, and judging by the attendance you haven't, the Indians have managed to win a few ball games, and are threatening to climb out of the cellar." - aurictech gets this one by one minute!

9. "I rarely use it myself, sir. It promotes rust." - valkyrwench gets one...

10. "Of course! Anyway, we don't have lice, we're Americans." - valkyrwench gets two!

11. "Because first you get a fat guy spike, then you get the fat guy dance." - With seconds on the clock, benkenobigal gets the final answer for the win!

and one really easy one...

12. "The master is not yet married, nor do I think he ever will be." - filkerdave is stunning in fishnets for this one.

There were a couple of favorite moviers that came to mind that I had to pass over because the quotes would have been in a foreign language (Ran, Das Boot) or were silent (Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens, Metropolis) and I didn't think title cards would be fair.
