Why I love my job.

What I didn't mention this morning is that we actually made it out to work before I decided that the ear trouble was going to force me to pack it in (I was getting woozy from the motion of the car - not good for a driver, yes?) I walked into to tell them I was heading home, saw my boss, ran over to catch him (man is a freaking ninja, blink and he vanishes) and immediately threw up in the sink. Needless to say, I was given leave to retreat to my bed.

About an hour ago boss' boss called to see how I was feeling. And told me that if I needed an extra day, to take it.

Luckily, the ear seems to be clearing. I took two very hot showers and felt something shift in the tube, and can hear better now.

but it was nice to get that call.
