Today's moment of Zen.

gridloreStuck in traffic this morning, due to an accident on the freeway. CHP had closed the road to remove the vehicles, so we were all just sitting there.
And 104.9 starts playing REM's Everybody Hurts.

Well, I'm in a fuckitall mood, so at the appropriate moment, I open my door and stand on the steps of my truck.
Three seconds later, somebody else gets out, then another, and another.
I figure only half of us (the ones with the silly grins) were actually listening to the song, the rest were being lemmings and wondering what we were all doing.
Traffic started up soon after, and we all drove away on our individual paths, but for one brief moment on Foothill Expressway, we shared a moment.
"They just got out and walked..."
