Who's Dennis Madalone? Hollywood stunt coordinator, best known for his work on the later Star Trek series. What possessed him to think he's a singer? Hell if I know!
The song is another syrupy, way over-done patriotic anthem, the kind of thing that makes actual patriots cringe. His look is pure 1980s, and the video? Think back to MTV's first year. Kind of like that. Terrible, terrible, terrible.. slow motion ultra-closeups of his angst-filled face. slow motion walking on a beach. Angels. People strollingin front of obvious green screens through the clouds. Wipes that look like they were done in PowerPoint or an early version of Video Toaster.
And flags. Everywhere. Because, y'know, Patriotism is best expressed by slapping a flag on every surface you can find.
