Today, I was asked to work early to cover a gap in the schedule. Sure thing!
A few hours before work, I was feeling awful, and checked my temp. A bit over 99. But since I was there to cover a period when my manager would be the only one in the store, I went in. I did let him know how I felt, and asked if I could be cut loose early and not close. Luckily, he agreed.
So instead of getting 7.5 hours, I got about 4.5
My temp is up to 100. Fluids, rest, and a Giants game. (Barry just hit a 3-run homer!)
