Three things.

gridloreI have a new bike route. Up Almaden to Blossom Hill, turn right down to Santa Theresa, right down to Coleman, another right than back out to Almaden. Another right turn and a few blocks to home. Feels like about three miles, maybe four. Coleman has two hills, which are going to kick my ass for a while.
The nice thing is except that for the left leaving home, and the other one coming back, it's all right turns. Blossom Hill, Santa Teresa and Coleman. Here's a map.. Our house is the red star, more or less. We're actually much closer to Via Monte. And since I'm a complete MapQuest goober, the aerial photo!
The second thing is, I have an interview! I couldn't get through CostPlus' phone system, so I just dropped by. Monday at 1630. This place is just down the block. The store is at the SE corner of Almaden and Blossom Hill. I wouldn't even need to ride there!
As always, the vibes are appreciated.
And last of all, I picked up a bike headlight set. Halogen lamp in the front with a nice wide beam, and a mounted red LED light in the back, also with a wide angle. I would like to get a light-weight windbreaker or rain suit jacket in white or another bright color. Considering the idiocy I see in daylight...
