gridloreI just got a letter about my SSA claim. Now they want me to see someone at the National Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Addiction.
I must ask, WHY???
According to my green-as-grass case worker, they want a psych eval. Since I told their medico that I suffer from occasional bouts of aphasia and have significant memory loss, the seem to think that I might have a psychological problem. Hello?
I have frakking brain damage! I had cancer! I have epilepsy! I've been taking powerful anticonvulsants for EIGHT BLOODY YEARS! You take drugs designed to specifically affect your brain function for that long and see how well your memory works.
So now I have to train up to the city, go to an appointment, explain that as far as I know all my problems are medical in origin, and hope that this time they give me my money.
