I tend to drink a lot of fluid at night to keep my throat moist. Because of how I am, if it gets too chilly my sinuses clog up and I start mouth-breathing, which leads to my throat drying out and me waking up unable to draw air.
Which could kill me someday.
Usually, I keep a bottle of Gatorade by the bed, sipping at that until I fall asleep and taking a swig when I get up to us the bathroom. We're out of Gators.
So I, being brilliant, decided to put one of the 12-packs of Coke Life next to my bed. Want to know what I learned last night?
It turns out I can open and drink cans of soda in my fucking sleep. I drank FIVE CANS of Coke Life last night! I remember drinking one.
Needless to say, I slept for shit and will be picking up more Gatorade today. The remaining cans are being banished to my desk where I will still drink far too many, but at least I'll be aware of the fact that I'm doing it.
