More Civilization V frustrations.
Jul. 31st, 2012 08:45 amOK, got the game up and running. Been playing around a little, and I'm beginning to think this game is a crapsack.
The damn thing is so fucking slow it is painful. Also, it seems that it is either not registering or ignoring half my mouse clicks. For example, right now I've reached the end of my turn. All my units have orders. All my cities are producing things (mainly spearmen so I can teach that snot Augustus Ceasar a little respect). I don't need to set any new social policies or research projects. Yet when I click on the "Next Turn" bar the game just sits there. Same for selecting units, or trying to maneuver through the orders and next unit menus.
Really frustrating.
