Not exactly what I planned.

Well, I'm home watching the Giant's home opener.

This is because I got massively sick at work this morning. I was feeling off, and then suddenly my stomach just revolted. Luckily, years of dealing with this has made me good at being violently ill without the bathroom needing to be scrubbed.

So, watching a good game while feeling miserable. This defines mixed emotions, I think

Tyler Stow, son of the Bryan Stow, the Giants fan severely beaten at Dodgers Stadium last years, got the honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at today's home opener.

What followed is magic.

The Giants won 5-0 behind a masterful game pitched by Matt Cain. He went nine innings, allowing one hit and no walks.
