This year I've decided to get Con Crud before the convention! My symptoms read like a Robitussin commercial.

I'm really hoping this goes away very soon.

On the advice of my penguin and teddy bear, who assure me they are trained medical professionals, I'm going back to bed.

San Francisco has always had more than its share of shadowy heroes. The ghostly Pale Rider of the Gold Rush days, the Fog, enigmatic crime-buster of the 30s, and even today the Bay Guardians feature the third Dr. Arcane, Nighthaunt, and Nemesis among their roster.

None come close to the hero known as Yellow Fist(黄拳/Huáng quán) when it comes to mystery. He first appeared in San Francisco in the 1850s with the great wave of Chinese immigration. Defending Chinese from both the Tongs and outside aggression, he battled foes both mundane and supernatural. He rarely speaks, and when he does it tends to be briefly and quietly. There seems to be no pattern to his appearances. Even his powers remain a mystery. Aside from being an extremely skilled martial artist and skilled in whatever weapon he happens to be holding, the only metahuman traits he exhibits are extremely fast reactions (he once grabbed The Dash as The Dash was passing Yellow Fist at top speed.. in excess of 300mph!), extremely fast healing, and a limited amount of extraordinary strength (the largest weight Yellow Fist has been seen to lift without straining was approximately 800lbs.)

It is theorized that Yellow Fist can also teleport. He has never shown any other method of locomotion and as Iron Horse once commented "it's not like the guy is taking [DELETED] BART to get around." However, no one is known to have witnessed Yellow Fist arrive or depart. He just seems to show up. He is also almost impossible to scan with telepathy. Those who have tried it liken the effect to setting off a psychic land mine." One of the few to succeed at penetrating Yellow Fist's shield was the villain Mr. Mind. Captured by PRIMUS shortly thereafter, Mr. Mind was in a near catatonic state, repeating variations on "So cold in there" and Too deep, much too deep." While in custody Mr. Mind took control of his guards, and committed suicide by proxy.

Even more disturbing is the account given by the Bay Guardian Steel Rainbow following the attempted invasion of Earth by Katastroféa. Steel Rainbow reported that at the height to the fighting on the Golden Gate Bridge after the gateway had been opened, he personally witnessed Yellow Fist fighting on the North Tower. As he was flying to give aid, a demon ripped Yellow Fist in half and threw the two haves of the body off opposite sides of the bridge. Within ten seconds of this, Steel Rainbow saw Yellow Fist, fully armed and apparently unhurt, leap from the crowd at the Marin Vista Point and rejoin the fight. It is now suspected that "Yellow Fist" is actually a spiritual entity that can manifest by taking over bodies and possesses the power to remake himself and his equipment.

Due to the large number of unanswered questions concerning Yellow Fist, and his reluctance to cooperate with either PRIMUS, the Guardian Project, or UNTIL, PRIMUS classifies Yellow Fist as a Class II threat: approach with extreme caution.
