Mötley Crüe pretty much invented glam metal back in the early eighties. Spandex, leather, make-up and an amazing sound made them the act on Hollywood's Sunset Strip. Though they faded in the nineties, wracked by line-up changes, continuing drug problems, and all the usual Behind The Music fodder, they kept going. One of the things the Crüe have always been known for is their covers. They had a top 40 hit with their cover of Brownsville Station's Smokin' in the Boys Room and in the early 2000s began covering another great song. This time, it was The Tubes classic White Punks on Dope. Enjoy!
