It's all part of my rock and roll fantasy
Sep. 5th, 2009 06:39 pmEver listen to a record on the earphones and dream that it was you making the music? Imagine being pulled out of the audience to play? In that dream, do you kick ass?
It wasn't a dream for 15 year old Rory Freeman last week at Green Day's show at the Shark Tank here in San Jose. He went to the show with a sign reading "I can play Jesus of Suburbia." Green Day has a tradition of inviting fans up to play; but Jesus is a nine minute epic, hardly an easy piece! But they brought him up, and this was the result.
He even got in some rock and roll jumps, and the stage dive at the end? Epic.
So, who are you in your rock and roll fantasy? Answer with a picture.
Me? Why I'm...
