On pace to go 162-0!
Apr. 7th, 2009 05:09 pmSan Francisco Giants: 10
Milwaukee Brewers: 6
There were two stories today. The first was that our reigning ace was forced out after only three innings. Last season, handing a game over to the bullpen early was a recipe for disaster. Today, six relievers combined to keep the game in reach and then hold onto the lead. Not a perfect outing, but it got the job done. The other story was our ability to manufacture runs. This was a team that wasn't supposed to hit home runs, and we had three. We also hit with runners in scoring position and hit well situationally.
