Heavy Metal Fools.
Apr. 1st, 2009 04:23 amHappy April Fools' Day! Once again, I'll be taking this chance to showcase a really weird video rather than trying to fool y'all.
Van Halen hasn't been featured in HMS because there is an argument over whether they really count as a metal band. Their first two albums were pretty metal, but by Diver Down or 1984 they had become pretty established as a hard rock band. Even the Sammy Hagar period continued in the hard rocker vein. But they did produce some great songs, and some equally good videos. Like the one for Right Now off 1991's For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge
Amusingly, the original video seems to have vanished off YouTube.
But we're here for an April Fools video. So enjoy Further Confusion set to Van Halen's Right Now
