And the Metal Gods were pleased.
Mar. 31st, 2007 05:05 pmI just bought my ticket for this concert.
The Dio-led version of Black Sabbath was my introduction to metal. It was a few years before I understood that Ozzy had been the original lead singer! But Sabbath and Dio were my gateway to Priest, Maiden, Mötörhead, Triumph, and the rest of the Big Noise boys.
I'm just as excited to see Megadeth. Dave Mustaine is one of the better songwriters in metal, and they are supposed to put on a great show.
Sad to say, I really don't know much about the opening act, Machine Head, but I've always said the best way to learn about a band is to see them live.
April 22nd, 1930 hours. Work the next day will suck, but I'll deal!
