OK, everyone call me an idiot.
Jan. 22nd, 2007 04:18 pmLast night, I was watching the AFC Championship game between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots. Late in the second quarter the Patriots jumped out to a 21-3 lead, and the Colts looked terrible.
Sensing another blowout, I turned off the set and read a book.
So, what did I miss? Oh, just the greatest comeback in conference championship history, capped by a touchdown with about a minute left, followed by Brady marching his team back down the field, only to throw an interception to end their season.
Indianapolis Colts: 38
New England Patriots: 34
Sad thing? It was a book I've read before.
