I come home from the con early so I can get some sleep.

Now, of course, I have insomnia.

At least I ascended a character I've been working in Nethack for a while. Congrats to Shia the Samurai, currently enjoying her radiance bath on some other plane.

Raiders remain winless. Niners improve to 2-3.

Dallas lost in TO's return to Philadelphia. *snicker*

Sunday at the con was much like Saturday. A real feeling of rattling around, my panel was sparsely attended (though fun), and just a weird vibe in the whole place. A big part of the problem was the number of "mundane" events going on at the same time. Baycon fills the hotel and all available function space, so after about 1800 on Friday we pretty much have the place to ourselves. Silicon, being much smaller, resulted in dealing with stares and occasional rude comments. My own issues with fatigue and insomnia didn't help matters.

On the good side, I've gotten an invitation to play in a modified D&D3.5 campaign. Twice monthly, face-to-face, with an old friend Kevin A. Murphy.

Tonight, I'm hitting the sack early and nailing my eyes shut if necessary.

Oh, we did pick up one thing at the con.. 1635: The Cannon Law by Eric Flint & Andrew Dennis. I'm still enjoying the series, at least for a few more books.
