And then there were two..
Apr. 12th, 2006 04:52 pmThe Great War continues in the Ultracorps playtest. Today, coordinated attacks took out Saxondog's last two worlds, removing him from the game. My attack on Moab was epic (the battle took several rounds and left my fleet decimated - but in control!).
Now I'm finishing up Ckat. He's down to three worlds, but one of them is going to be impossible to crack. He's been pulling everything he can into this one world, and it currently musters close to 2300FP. I on the other hand, have the resource of 57 worlds all churning out war material. My list of fleets in transit is hideously long; all of them heading to two staging worlds next to Ckat's homeworld of Millennium. By the time my attack finally launches, I should be about comparable in fire power and have an edge in total number of ships and ground forces.
Soldiers, starmen, and giant robots of the Heavy Metal Alliance, the Great Crusade has begun!
