Interesting...
Jan. 2nd, 2005 10:02 amI wandered down to the gas station to grab the paper, and they had their Help Wanted sign up again. I asked, and it's the grave position. The new manager, whom I've chatted with before, is married to a Cost Plus employee (different store) so she understands the situation with declining hours.
Full time, Sun-Thurs grave. At least $9/hr. No benefits, but I'll take the higher pay.
The amusing bit? The reason I went out in a winter storm to get the paper was for the Career Builder section..
Must update resume, and fill out the application.

On any given Sunday
Jan. 2nd, 2005 12:42 pmWhile the real 49ers stank up the field, I played Madden to see a good team play.
There was one wild play. The Seahawks were punting, and it was from about my 45 yard line. So it was pretty obvious that this was going to come down inside the 10. So my receiver let it bounce, hoping for a touchback. The ball hit on the 1-foot line, and bounced back up the field. A big, hanging bounce that landed in the hands of Zeb Cook, my right end. Cook proceeded to run for 67 yards before he was finally dragged down.
That's one for ESPN's Top Ten Plays.
I also had two TD passes where my reciever broke short passes for 60+ yard touchdowns.
