I'm upset!

Los Angeles Dodgers: 7
Yup. The damn bullpen again. Feed them to the sharks. At least the Mets beat the Cubs, keeping our hopes for the wildcard slot alive. Bonds did hit number 703, which is a good thing.
Seattle Seahawks: 34
San Francisco 49ers: 0
That's right, a big ol' goose egg. The last time that happened Jimmy Carter was President, Iran was run by our good buddy the Shah, and Traveller had been out for a grand total of six months - as had Star Wars.
In other news, it turns out
aurictech survived Hurricane Ivan, so
bunyip and I have to send him $20 each. The Cardinals have far and away the best record in the National League.

Sep. 26th, 2004 08:12 pmI've noticed an odd effect from playing Madden 2003. Whenever I'm watching football, I take special notice when a real player who has played on one of my teams is mentioned. Donovan McNabb, Warrick Dunn, Orlando Mare.. all players of mine who have been featured in highlights in the last few minutes.
