Payday, and down to the bank.

This was the nastiest ride I've had in a long time. Hard winds that seemed to swirl around to be directly head on no matter what my direction of travel, hot, humid air, and idiotic drivers at every turn. That, and a pinhole leak in my rear tire made for a difficult journey. I've gotten clearance from Kiri to purchase self-sealing tubes for the bike, which should help. I'll go to Pacific Cycles for those, since I really don't feel comfortable removing the rear wheel assembly.

Had a nice surprise at the bank.. Kirsten's 401k paid out, so we can get the car repaired at last. Just need to see about getting it reregistered and insured.

Must restrain fist of death...

So, I have to work tonight. Needing clean clothes, I gather up a pile of jeans, t-shirts, socks and other things, and pile them into the washing machine. Forty-five minutes later, I pile them into the dryer, and go to feed the machine it's required silvery sacrifice.. and the coin slot is jammed. Close inspection shows that some moron tried to jimmy the coin slot.

Now I have clothes hanging all over the place, hoping they'll dry to some extent in the next 2.5 hours.

I will kill the next person to breaks the damn washing machines.
