Ann Coulter. To call this woman "rabid" is an understatement. Her
Oct. 1 column is about General Wesley Clark, who is currently running for President. (If you see this Oct. 2nd or later, click on the archives link.)
Along with the usual Coluter lies and slander, she writes this gem:
So he's basically Howard Dean with scarier flashbacks.Excuse the fuck out of me, but General Clark led troops on the ground in infantry combat. Where he was awarded the Silver Star (the third highest award for valor we have) and was wounded. To make light of this with a throw-away line like that is a bloody insult to everyone who every put on the uniform.. no matter what service, no matter what you did, no for what nation. We all took our oath knowing that we were volunteering to put our lives on the line for an ideal. That Coulter doesn't get this doesn't surprise me one bit.
I encourage everyone reading this, especially the veterans, to write to the wanna-be fascist at bob@anncoulter.org. Be polite, firm, and tell her off. If you are a vet, give her the specifics of your service. If your aren't, but had loved ones who served, let her know that.
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke(No, this isn't the only thing that she has said that pisses me off, but the casual dismissal of war time nightmares really got me burning.
