The Giants wrapped up the season in fine style, slapping the hated Dodgers around.
San Francisco Giants: 12
Los Angeles Dodgers: 3
Our final season record: 100-61. We won't have to make up the game against the Mets that was cancelled because of the blackout in August. Barry Bonds ends the season with 658 home runs, which means that he'll pass Willie Mays early next season. Rich Aurilia had his 1,000th career hit last night. All in all, we look very strong heading into the post season. In the NLDS we will face the Florida Marlins. The best of five series begins Tuesday, with Jason Schmidt (17-5, 2.34 ERA) taking on Florida's Josh Beckett (9-8, 3.04)
