Although we are moving only about 50 miles, it's hard to leave SF.. I've loved it here, and being able to say that I love in Baghdad by the Bay has been nice.

I'm really going to miss walking out the front door and seeing the Golden Gate Bridge's towers of in the distances, or walking in the fog and net being able to see the other side of the street, and any one of a hundred different things. I'm going to miss taking the N Judah to PacBell Park,

So, in a final salute, I'd like to do a little number made famous by Tony Bennett...

The loveliness of Paris, seems somehow sadly gay
The glory that was Rome, is of another day
I've been terribly alone and forgotten in Manhattan
I'm going home to my city by the bay.

I left my heart in San Francisco
High on a hill, it calls to me.
To be where little cable cars
climb halfway to the stars!
The morning fog may chill the air
I don't care!

My love waits there in San Francisco
Above the blue and windy sea
When I come home to you, San Francisco,
your golden sun will shine for me.
