Mar. 18th, 2003 08:29 amThe San Francisco Chronicle's front page this morning was "Brink of War" in large type with a photo of troops listening to the President's address under the Kuwaiti moon. (You can see the photo here)
The soldiers are identified as being from Alpha Company, 3rd Battalion of the 7th Infantry Regiment. I served in that company almost twenty years ago. Very weird to see this generation of Alpha Dawgs. I wonder if they still go to The Aztec on Victory Drive when they're home at Ft. Benning?
