Sep. 13th, 2001 09:44 amI have been on my new anti-convulsant, Trileptal, for about a week now. While it is too early to tell how effective it will be at full dosage, there has been one interesting side effect.
My arms and legs are moving on their own. Nothing violent, but sort of small jerks and slow sweeps and twists. This is a listed side effect, and nothing to worry about, but it is kind of odd to be sitting there and suddenly find your right arm not where you want it.
This doesn't interfere with deliberate movements.. when I walk, for example, my legs don't try to do things I'm not telling them to do, and right now my typing is no worse than usual, but if I rest for a moment, off they go!
