gridloreI've decided to try and grow my hair out again. All my life I've wanted long hair, but all I could ever get was white man's afro. I had very curly hair as a kid. But chemo and age have thinned it out a bit, so I'm going to give it another try.
All I want is shoulder length, or maybe a touch longer. I'm not going for the middle of the back or anything like that. I think that would look ridiculous on me. I need about 5" of length to get to the point I want to reach. Given how fast my hair grows, that isn't to far in the future.
This means that I actually need to explain how I want my hair to look to the barber. No more "get the clippers, #5 guide on the sides and back, #3 on the top."
