Heavy Metal...what day is it again?

gridlorekshandra here, coming to you live from Heavy Metal Central. Visiting with gridlore over the weekend, the lyrics to this one came up as a reference to how he's feeling lately. "You want me to post an HMS for you?" I asked. And so, from their 1994 album Far Beyond Driven, here is Pantera with "I'm Broken."(I know Doug usually tries to post live video rather than studio versions, but I wasn't able to find a good copy between phone calls. :-P )
Continuing with the theme, since we're a week behind, here's a track that featured prominently in one of Doug's dreams this weekend. From Death Magnetic, here's Metallica with "Broken, Beat & Scarred."
(Again, an official video, but it was filmed about a week before we saw them in 2008, so I'll call it good.)
