me: Funny call. I mentioned I had bought "Fantasy Firearms" but found it wanting. She said "I know, get these guns out of my High Fantasy!" I said "Ah, but I want to run Elvish Pirates of the Caribbean." "Oh. It sounds cool that way!"

Kirsten: hee. (My god, they actually made a Squishable I don't like....)

me: Heresy! (Squishable God-Emperor?)

Kirsten: Take a look at the bullfrog and you'll see what I mean. (I don't think that tubing will squish well at all, personally.)

me: Squishable Eldar?

Kirsten: Squishable Ravenor!

me: I'm waiting for the Tanith First-and-Only GI Joes.

Kirsten: They've gotta be the old-school 12" dolls with the flocked haircuts, though.

me: Of course! Mad Larkin with the Kung-Fu Grip! (Hallucinatory angel sold separately.)

Kirsten: (I expect you to cut-and-paste this into a journal entry, btw.) o, no, Mkvenner's got the Kung-fu grip. Larks is the one with the eight thousand accessory packs for his custom las. (no, was it Mkvenner or Bonin who is supposed to be the forest ninja?)

Kirsten: I thought so, and then suddenly went spare. (OMG, we almost have a love triangle in the new book.)

me: Does Beltayn's figure say "something's awry" when you press his back?

Kirsten: Of COURSE it does.
