rickvs here. The chili is simmering as we speak. The apartment smells amazing. We finally got around to uploading the results of the NLCS bet with
netquiddler. It's amusing. The big story of the Giants' off-season is the need for Pablo "Kung-Fu Panda" Sandoval to lose weight and rededicate himself to conditioning and eating wisely, and we're sitting here enjoying comfort food from around the country.
Edit: The chili has been consumed, and was awesome. The chili powder wasn't needed. I could have added a little for the burn, but the flavor was so good without additional heat. We were a little concerned that the jar+1lb of meat might be a little more than we could handle. Turns out to have been the perfect amount. We each had about two bowls worth.
