If tomorrow follows the pattern..

• I will end this week with about 12 hours of overtime. That's about $225 on top of the $500 I'd normally make in a 40-hour week.


• My next couple of checks are going to rock, but I'm worn to a nub.


• The sad fact is we're just short of drivers. We need at least one more warehouse/driver person to handle relief and hotshots. We may well be hiring one soon.


• But today's route. Yeah.


• Very tired.


• Luckily, today was a day game. Giants baseball: torture. We jumped out to a 7-3 lead on the strength of back-to-back homers by Pat Burrell and Pablo Sandoval, and a Burrell Grand Slam.


• Then the bullpen gave it all back.


• Tied in the bottom of the 9th, the Cubs allowed the bases to get loaded, and then Andres Torres smashed what would have been a ground-rule double, but instead was simply a walk-off hit.


• Kirsten is doing strange things to my truck in the name of art.


• There's really very little else to report these days.


• Unpacking is going very slowly due to the insane hours


• But this place is starting to feel like home.


• Food soon, then bed.
