We win the Battle of the Bay in overtime. Our kicker, Cortez, missed two easy field goals earlier (one with three seconds left in regulation) but came back to win the game.
This game underscored a problem with the Niners. Our coach does not have a killer instinct. Several times we reached points where we should have gone for blood, and he did the safe thing. At the end of the game, we had the ball 1st and goal on their 6 yard line, and rather than go for the touchdown, he sent in Cortez. Mooch is going to have to get some fire going if we're going to make it through the playoffs.
