A fun moment at work and an awww....

gridloreJust so y'all know that my life at work isn't totally hellish. I actually got out a little early today. And reached the light rail stop two minutes ahead of a Santa Teresa train. I win!
But my last job was a quick run over to a vendor to pick up some materials we had sent out for powder coating (yes,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kshandra, I had an American Chopper moment when I heard that part.) I had to go go inside to sign the paperwork.
Me: "Should I ignore this line about my immortal soul?"
GP Guy 1: "Leave your soul at the door."
Me: "Well, it goes well with my crushed spirit and deflated ego."
GP Guy 2: "And it's only Tuesday!"
Me: "Yeah, by the end of the week I'm a hollow shell of a man. but that's good; more room for beer!"
Coming home I walk through a section of the Guadalupe River Trail (used to ride that section.. *sob*) As I entered the trail, there was a father with his son. The kid was about four or so, and dad was carry two fishing poles while the kid was toting a net and a small tackle box. As I passed, I heard the kid say with complete urgency "Daddy! The man forgot his fishing pole!!!" He sounded quite alarmed. Dad assured the kid that I was probably going to meet my friends, and they had my pole. Good save!
