gridloreI got most of the office to take part in Talk Like A Pirate Day. The best part was this exchange over the Nextel.
Me: "Cap'n Tim, I be setting sail and leaving Discovery Bay, (real place) would you be needing me to make port at Bay Standard?"
Cap'n Tim: "Arrr. clear sailing to your next stop, matey!"
a few minutes later, the Nextel beeps.
Cap'n Tim: "Belay that! There be treasure awaiting ye at Bay Standard! change course and plunder them good!"

filkertom's Talk Like A Pirate Day used on CBS Radio's story on the day. Even better was hearing KCBS have a Pirate Traffic Update and a Pirate sports update.
