I hadn't seen the Spoon thing before. It's an interesting description for such diseases. The metaphor doesn't *QUITE* work for some other chronic and dangerous illnesses, like my own asthma... I'll have to see if I can think of something similar. I.e., if I'm CAREFUL I can, so to speak, get a lot more spoons. But if I make a mistake, or run into the wrong thing, all my spoons can disappear at once without warning.
