Anybody want to fry an egg?

We've hit the century mark.. an increase of over 20 degrees from yesterday. 101 and 18% humidity.

Make that 102

I've actually done the egg frying thing, on the sidewalk in front of my parent's house in Phoenix. On aluminum foil. I did a miserable job of flipping the eggs and it was very messy, but they did cook.

Try 35 degrees (C), 80% humidity, and a room full of grade nine students...

Ah. And of course, it's near the end of the year, yes? So their little minds are all over the place.

You have my sympathy.

No kidding. I'm not a fan of the blistering heat but I'm even less a fan of hearing my grandmother bitch about said heat and yet wait for her to turn on the AC after we've sat there and cooked in our own juices for a few hours. Her logic? "We can't afford to run the AC that long." Okay, fine. But don't bitch about it. We can fix the problem, we just have to kick in a little more money. If you don't want to, that's fine too, but you must keep your mouth shut. Make, bed, sleep.

... but it's a dry heat...

See this icon? Put yourself a little to the left of it! :)

Knock it off, Hudson.

We didn't seem to quite hit 100 here with a humidity of 17%.

Still too bloody hot.

Love the user pic, btw.

(looking at userpic)

You'd be a lot cooler if you'd just sit still.

If you want air movement, use a fan.

:-)

methinks 102 and 18% makes a slimy penguin.
