A morning for fives

Seen in the journals of [livejournal.com profile] the_ogre and [livejournal.com profile] lysana

1. What do you call me? or What do you think of me as?
2. What song makes you think of me (if one does), and why? or What would be my theme tune?
3. If you could give me one present, what would it be?
4. What one thing/event do you associate with me?
5. How well do you know me?

1) Doug or the Sniper.
2) Any Grateful Dead Song.
3) A day with Jerry Garcia.
4) The worlds worst tattoo.
5) Not very.

1) West Coast Sweetie
2) Metalillica - One : It's an angry song about losing what's important in one's life.
3)Your health back
4)9/11 (probably wouldn't be friends with you if it wasn't for that)
5)Not as well as I should

1. Doug, and Not David. Also Sniper.
2. Most Dead tunes, espcially Truckin' for some reason.
3. Complete health
4. Role-gaming in general, and most especially Traveler.
5. Not too well, but I've been making some efforts to change that.

1) I call you by your given name or Sniper, though not the latter as much. I think of you as [livejournal.com profile] kshandra's husband much of the time, but as an individual in your own right more and more as we talk.
2) I know saying Grateful Dead is easy, but with the life you've led, "Touch of Grey" comes screaming to the fore.
3) Everyone else has wished you health, so I'll wish you a New Year's Eve concert with the Grateful Dead, Jerry included. One with The Other Ones in second place. I think I used up my resurrection spell on [livejournal.com profile] the_ogre's gift.
4) BayCon.
5) Not very, but we seem to be working on that (and I'm pleased).

  1. Doug.
  2. <shrug> Dunno.
  3. Robust health, including dental (that's with a D) health.
  4. The San Francisco baseball/football franchises.
  5. Not very.

1. Sniper or Gridlore
2. "Bye Bye Baby" (it's amazing how one can get a song stuck in their head when they don't even know the tune...!)
3. Lifetime "Get Out Of Seizures Free" card
4. The WORLD'S WORST Grateful Dead tattoo!
5. Fair to middlin'.

[identity profile] aurictech.livejournal.com 2003-01-31 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
1. Generally Doug, occasionally Penguin Boy.
2. "Life During Wartime," for two reasons: a) It's on the BayCon Trav party CD set you sent me while I was deployed to Bosnia [for which I am eternally grateful] and b) It's the inspiration for The Rim During Wartime (http://gridlore.home.mindspring.com/wartime.html) on your Trav filk page.
3. The year 2050, in reasonably good health. You beat cancer to 2000, let's go for the next 50-year mark!
4. Years of crunchy TML goodness. Even if Gridlore Technologies is a direct competitor with AuricTech Shipyards (especially in the Lunion system).... ;-)
5. Better than I know most people in meatspace. This is less a reflection on how well I know you than it is on how little I know most people.... ~shrug~
