More accomplished, but foiled in one quest

  • Went in this morning for yet another blood draw, blood thinner and thyroid function.

  • Came home and actually ate a nutritious breakfast.

  • Eggbeaters, toast, and a big glass or orange juice.

  • Noodled on the net for a bit, then headed out for two errands.

  • First stop: Staples

  • I need a new card/picture holder for my wallet.

  • Staples doesn't have them.

  • Nor does CVS, Walgreens, or anywhere else I've looked.

  • This is frustrating.

  • I find them on Amazon, but this is a product I want to see before I buy.

  • Tomorrow I call Office Depot and Max.

  • Saddened, I cheered myself up by ogling office supplies.

  • Office supply stores = Toys'R'Us for grownups.

  • From there, over to GameKastle to exchange the wrong book for the right book.

  • Now own Pathfinder Bestiary and Pathfinder Ultimate Combat

  • Expect game posts soon.

Last time I bought them, I got them at Long's. I'm surprised CVS doesn't have them in a back corner. But then again, they got rid of a lot of useful Long's things. I don't shop there as much as I used to.
You may just need to take good measurements and buy them online. At least there is some standardization, so there are not too many versions out there. My favorite spot for stuff like that is Vermont Country Store. If they don't have exactly what you want, ask for it. They may decide to carry it.
Still anything "special" just isn't covered in Brick & Mortar any more. :(
