someone needs to point out to him that it took hundreds of years to build the Great Wall and that after all that *it didn't work*.

wonder how well it'd go over if he had to tell them that the wall would raise their taxes $100 to $1000 each.

Well, my first idea was that apparently you have a workforce which seems to be working for low wages, a bit southward of the U.S...

They might even do more than the contracted portion, for example building underground access tunnels for free.
