We finally got around to uploading the results of the NLCS bet with

It's amusing. The big story of the Giants' off-season is the need for Pablo "Kung-Fu Panda" Sandoval to lose weight and rededicate himself to conditioning and eating wisely, and we're sitting here enjoying comfort food from around the country.
Edit: The chili has been consumed, and was awesome. The chili powder wasn't needed. I could have added a little for the burn, but the flavor was so good without additional heat. We were a little concerned that the jar+1lb of meat might be a little more than we could handle. Turns out to have been the perfect amount. We each had about two bowls worth.

Kirsten had the soup, and was mixed on it. I don't think she had ever had turtle soup before, so had no point of reference.
So, what is the best local beer in Philly?

As to local beer... what a question to ask a teetotaller. My suggestion might be Yuengling - they're out of nearby Pottsville, and are the oldest operating brewery in the United States.
