I hope your team wins. Then I look forward to them coming here to play my team :>

Looks like I get my wish. Now to see if any of the local radio stations are giving away tickets ...

You up for a little wager? Bottle of good California wine against? (I'm partial to Texas chili makings.)

Sounds good to me, sir. Although if they hadn't just built a Carl's Jr. up the street from me, I'd be proposing a different wager :>

My wife prefers white wine, should that come up, of whatever Cali label you wish to brag on.

Do you have a particular brand of Texas chili you lean towards, or should I surprise you with something local?

In the meanwhile, how far do you live from the stadium on your end, and do you know if any of your radio stations might be giving away series tickets? I don't mind trying to win a pair for you, if I can -- some stations' internet feeds broadcast with less time delay than their radio signals, so me being in another state may not be a hindrance. I can't guarantee anything, of course -- but I'm gonna be playing a buncha radio games as my hobby anyway, and would consider it an interesting challenge.

We're about forty miles south of The City, but CalTrain (which literally runs 80 from from out back fence) stops two blocks from AT&T Park. I'm watching KNBR for any contests.

No preferences as to chili. Surprise me when we win. :) I have a couple of great whites in the rack as we speak.

As an alternative to local chili, how do you like spaghetti? I make a heavily-meated sauce I've gotten some good feedback on ...and it actually tastes better after it's sat in the fridge for a couple of days. Or, I suppose, frozen for a day in a UPS styrofoam transport container sandwiched between a couple of cold packs.
