OK, taking a breather.

You guys are freaking awesome. The sale of the RPG stuff has been successful beyond my wildest dreams. I've got another confirmation email or two to send out, and tonight Kiri and i will start boxing things up. A couple of requests.

  1. If you've bought something, and haven't sent us the shipping address, please email me at dberry49er(at)gmail(dot)com

  2. Three people have asked about the Paranoia set, but no one has bid. I'm not setting prices because I want you folks to pay what you feel it is worth. Again, dberry49er(at)gmail(dot)com if you want anything still on the list.

  3. I'll be posting a revised list tomorrow. There are still some goodies to be had.

Again, thanks for making this such a success. There will be more to come as we dig in to storage boxes and closets.

I thought I posted a bid on the Paranoia set yesterday -- did it not go through? I'm not at all sure what's reasonable, so it's by no means a final bid.

So you did. I blame the pain meds. It's yours, email me at the addy above with your shipping address and we'll let you know what the toitatl will be.

I was really tempted to bid on some of those items, but all they'd end up doing is sitting on MY shelves in MY too-small apartment, instead of doing someone else some good.

Fully understood. Who knows, maybe something will show up down the line that you can use.

It has a lot more to do with me not being an active gamer these days, and resisting the collector impulse.

It's interesting to see what's left... and to imagine putting together a game based just on the leftovers. Say, for GURPS, a game of cynical lawmen holding the thin blue line -- against dinosaurs! In spaaaaace!!!

Must say that sounds like either the most awesome thing ever or the worst or both. ;)

There used to be a campaign generator that selected three random GURPS books. Some of the combinations were pretty awesome.

I have been replaced by a computer before I even got the job!

Welcome to the 21st century!

Of course, I just looked down and saw GURPS Traveller: Sword Worlds, GURPS Illuminati, and GURPS Spirits.

That would be an interesting campaign.

Would probably be a big hit if I could get the White Power Pansy Pigs together with the Gaming-is-Shamanism-and-Yes-I-Am-an-Orlanthi-Wizard group I used to know.

At least, in the sense that I would really want to hit them...
