This has to be some kind of record.

Surgery done, and I'm back home.

Feel like crap, and moving like a 90 year old, but it's done.

Great crew in my surgical team.

Holy cow - same surgery for a gallbladder? I'm kinda surprised they didn't keep you overnight. Congratulations on dodging that bullet :)

Take care of yourself.

So did they just put you up on jacks, undo your lug nuts with power drills, and stick the high-pressure fuel hose in?

Must have, because that's exactly what I thought when he said, "crew."

Then the chief surgeon gives the sign, they yank the jacks, slap him on the butt and push him into post-op.
ext_14676: (Are you freaking serious?)

Wow. That's almost fast enough, you'd think you'd had a baby. :-)

Feel better soon.

*hugs*

Glad to hear it went well- but damn, that's a quick in and out! I knew that some orthoscopic surgeries (which I assume this was) are 1 day jobs, but not even half a day?!?

Recover well; glad all went OK.
