Yep. At that point in 2012, you're supposed to start over from the beginning of the calendar and keep going. Don't you love cultures that lack a seriously documented apocalypse?

Given that the most significant digit of the long count only goes to 13 (in a base 20 numbering system) "bigger rock" isn't the problem.
Their calender rolls over (like an odometer) then because its a point at which a lot of astronomical cycles co-incide.
Given that the current cycle started in 3114 BC...
