So not the truck driver today.

Got no sleep last night. Click on the link if you desire details.. and aren't eating breakfast.

One of the legacies of my Hodgkin's is Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It's pretty common in people who've had ABVD chemotherapy. I'm actually lucky in that my flare ups are infrequent. But when they do hit? Hoo-boy.

For me an IBS attack means I'm spending several hours eliminating solid wastes. I can be in the bathroom for 45 minutes at a stretch (and I use that word deliberately) suffering from very painful cramps as my body tries to do in one day what most people do all week. Needless to say, this sort of marathon can lead to other complications. It also leaves me exhausted, dehydrated, and ready to kill anything in my path. One final joy; when an attack is underway I find it very difficult to urinate.

I was up at least five times last night, and what little sleep I got was wholly inadequate.

So, no truck today, and if I'm not feeling better by tomorrow (even if I do go into work) I'm going to skip the con.

Gawd. I'm sorry your body saw fit to torture you so. I hope you feel better soon.
