GIANTS CLINCH A PLAYOFF BERTH!!!!
The Giants defeated the Houston Astros to clinch the National League Wild Card playoff berth.
Highlights: Barry Bonds smashing a homerun into the bay. A line shot that you knew from impact was not coming down anytime soon.
The Giants' pitching staff, which got out of several tight situations.
Tom Goodwin's 2-out pinch-hit double that scored two runs.
Jeff Kent's triple.
Now, we face the Atlanta Braves. We played them seven times this year, with a 3-3 record (one game called due to rain, and not made up.)

What do you think the chances are for the Giants to beat the Braves? It sure would be nice to see a Series in PacBell. :)
