EEEEEEeeeeeeeeee *gasp* EEEEEEE!

"Brigadier General Clarence Potter crouched in a muddy trench north of Atlanta. Overhead, U.S. bombers flew through what looked like flak thick enough to walk on. Potter saw smoke coming from a couple of enemy airplanes, but the airplanes went on about the business of pounding the hub of the Confederate States of America flat."

It's here! Settling Accounts: In At The Death just arrived! I got out of work a little early, went my by favorite Vietnamese hair place for a buzz, then cut through the mall for an air-conditioned walk. Saw the book at Borders, and read the first chapter. But I resisted going farther, knowing I had one on order. I never expected it this fast!

I will be tuning out of life for as long as it takes me to read this baby. Carry on!

Have fun

We'll attempt to muddle through without your salient wisdom while you are disconnected.

Arrgh! Forget about Harry Potter, that is the book for which I've been waiting!

But now I have to wait for Dave Clark to get back from NASFiC because I promised to buy my copy from him.

Crap!

Argh. The library lists it, but doesn't have any copies in the catalog yet. No matter, I'm hold 1 of 1, so the second it gets there, it's mine for the reading...
