Intriguing. You'll not get any grief from me about it. My uncle (mother's father's brother), Seth Reynolds, was a career officer with the Sutter County Sheriff's Department (http://sheriff.co.sutter.ca.us/), and when he died was the county's Assistant Sheriff. (I always wished that his boss had won the state assembly election; the Board of Supervisors would have appointed Uncle Seth Sheriff ad interim and I bet he would have won the next election.) Several of my uncles and cousins also worked for the Sutter County Sheriff's department.
LOL That's actually right over the hill from us, about a 40 minute drive. I spent a lot of my teenage years at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (http://www.beachboardwalk.com/) where a lot of the exteriors for The Lost Boys was filmed.
We have the best roller coaster on the West Coast.. the Giant Dipper (http://beachboardwalk.com/02_giant_dipper.html). Built in 1924, you have to ride it late on a foggy night. sometimes, just before closing, they'll turn all the lights off and send you through in the fog.
