Paul Lemmen (http://1star-pita.livejournal.com/profile) is a fraud.

he was arrested earlier this month by the Secret Service and denied bail as a flight risk.

you can read all about it here: http://www.fayobserver.com/article?id=258021

This guy scammed everyone. Even showed up at [livejournal.com profile] soldiergrrrl's wedding in Air Force dress blues. Since he seemed to love the Air Force so much (with a whole two weeks active duty) I suggest we give him a military punishment.

Hang him.

By what appendage?

Surely the Air Farce has some job dirty enough to do that he could be made useful without forcing people who are actually trying to do their jobs properly to interact with him? Digging latrines outside Thule, or some such?

best,

Joel

Rattlesnake census at Edwards AFB.

I'm familiar with the area; I'm not sure he can count that high. Maybe if he has to kiss each one...

best,

Joel

well, he'd only get one or two counted then, wouldn't he?

In Soviet Russia, they made people mow lawns down to regulation height. Using manicure scissors and rulers.

The British Army used to favour scrubbing floors/sweeping roads with toothbrushes (in the late 1980s; the Human Rights Act, which was passed in 1998, may have stopped them by now).

I'm not sure if that's better or worse than scrubbing toilets with the said toothbrush.

Wow, Lemman was on LiveJournal too? I met him once as part of a Usenet meetup, and something smelled fishy to me even then.

At that time, he was claiming to be ex-IRA, so I'd suggest somenthing omr their bag of tricks might be approriate. Perhaps involving power drills and kneecaps?

See, THIS is why the coming Internet Panopticon will be a good thing. Soon, it will be impossible for frauds like this to fool anyone for nearly as long, if at all.

[identity profile] gridlore.livejournal.com 2007-03-25 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Note that Lemmen was so good at this he managed to go to Iraq four times posing as a contractor. At the wedding I mentioned, he fooled a large number of long-serving Army NCOs. This guy is good.

So, he is in no way related to soldiergrrrl? Because we were given to believe that he was family to her, and were being mortified on her behalf.

How many lies did this guy spin?

"How many lies did this guy spin?"

Far too many... he'll be spinning them in prison soon enough... expect to hear how the Govt. "framed" him because he knew an earthshattering secret that they didn't want him to reveal... blah, blah, blah...
